It would fill pages if we were to list all different styles of fabrics that we have made. Suffice it to say that we can manufacture almost any type of woven fabric – be the fabric as per Indian, American, German, Russian, British, Japanese or French standards.We can weave fabrics from a thickness of 1 mil to 100 mil (i.e., 0.025 mm to 2.5 mm). It is routine for us to weave plain, satin, twill, basket, leno, mock-leno, jacquard, tubular and even uni-directional weaves on our fleet of looms.

Processed Glass Fabrics are available with de-sizing and silane treatment to be used with Epoxy, Polyester or Phenolic resins. Coatings of PTFE, Neoprene, Silicone, Viton, Graphite, Vermeculite etc are made available almost off-the-shelf to meet demanding applications.

Carbon Fabrics are woven from 1K, 3K, 6K, 12K, in any weave required. UD – CARBON fabrics are also manufactured in-house. Our state of the art facilities specially dedicated for weaving of Carbon fabrics under controlled temperatures prevent contamination. Import of Carbon fabrics has become a history. Aerospace, Sports, Composite and other industries who are conscious of using such high-tech fabrics can now breathe easy as their requirements can be met so easily.

ARAMID FABRICS

Being a weaver of high Performance Technical Textile, Urja’s state of the art machinery is also home for weaving aramid fabrics on a daily basis.

Our fabrics have proudly passed Ballistic Test and are also used for various composite applications.

We regularly weave aramid fabrics in plain, twill, crowfoot, and satin weave in various weights. Hybrid fabrics from aramid and fibre glass; aramid and carbon or fiberglass and carbon are a daily sight on the production floor.

Aramid Fabrics meant for various applications like manufacturing of gloves, bullet proof vests, car linings, etc are woven as per requirements of exacting customers.

These fabrics are used in the manufacture of stationary batteries. They are made from polyester yarn. These are fabrics having special weave so as to have hollow tubes within the fabric. Such fabrics can also be developed from any other yarn for any special application.

One of the specific end-uses of nylon peel ply fabrics is its use to roughen the surface of resinous articles. It is used in abundance in the process of manufacturing windmill blades. These fabrics are available in special widths as per requirement.

Polypropylene fabrics used as Filter fabrics in the filtration of dyes and chemicals. Also used as Geo Textiles.

Glass PP fabrics are extensively used in the manufacture of PVC Sheets. We are the largest manufacturers for PPGL fabrics in India.
